Why Mission SU Exists

Her compassion became a mission.

Su was preparing for a life of healing others when she went home to be with the Lord in 2024. She had already begun quietly caring for children in Nepal—helping with school, food, supplies, and medical needs.

Mission SU continues that love in a practical, personal, Christ-centered way so children know they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

Our Story

Her calling didn't end. It multiplied.

Su was in her final year of medical school, training to heal the sick, when she went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2024. Outside her studies, she was already living out James 1:27 — quietly paying school fees, buying supplies, and making sure orphaned and underprivileged children in Nepal had food and medical care.

When we lost her, we brought our grief before God in prayer. What He gave us wasn't an explanation — it was a calling. Mission SU exists to continue Su's work and, more than that, to bring the love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children who have never been told that someone — God Himself — cares for them.

Since 2024, that calling has reached more than 300 children across Nepal. We do this to serve God, to make His name known, and to walk alongside these children until they know they are not forgotten.

Our Mission & Faith

Why we do this — and why through Mission SU.

Christ-centered, not just charity

Every gift is an act of worship and an opportunity to share the Gospel with a child who may never have heard it.

Built on James 1:27

Caring for orphans in their affliction isn't a program add-on for us — it's the foundation the whole ministry stands on.

Family-run, personally overseen

Mission SU is led directly by Su's family — every child's need is known personally, not managed at a distance.

Transparent giving

Every donation is processed securely through Givebutter, with an automatic tax receipt and a full giving record you can access anytime.

Project Little Smile

Little Smiles, Big Dreams.

Most children in Nepal have never heard of Secret Santa — Christmas is just another day. Every December, Project Little Smile brings food, drinks, gifts, games, and the message of Christ's love to children who have never celebrated it before.

Right now, 52 children are waiting for someone to sponsor their Little Smile gift and their year-round support.

Where We Work

Reaching villages across Nepal.

The children we support come from communities across these areas — each one known by name, not just by region.
